This project is collaborated between The Forsyth Institute (TFI) and The Institute for Genomic Research (TIGR), and is funded by National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR)

To provide Porphyromonas gingivalis clones, reagents, and information to the research community

Within 6 months of completing the sequence and concurrent with the publication of the work in a peer-reviewed journal, a genomic map, the gene list, and nucleotide and protein sequences will be made available in the TIGR Microbial Database (World Wide Web, http://www.tigr.org) in the same format as the other microbial genomes provided there. All sequences and annotation will also be deposited in GenBank, GSDB and other appropriate databases. Information integrated in Aim 3 will be placed on the Forsyth Pophyromonas gingivalis Database (http://www.forsyth.org/pggp). In addition, a minumum set of small insert and lambda clones and clone ordering information will be available from ATCC.
